Strategic Priority: Boarding

Re-envision a robust boarding community that fosters academic, social, and personal growth.
On our vibrant 7-day a week campus, students have the opportunity to engage with friends from across the region, the United States and the world. Both day and boarding students benefit from the robust conversations and diverse perspectives these children bring to the Harkness table.

Only at Masters can students get a stunning 96-acre campus and the vibrancy of the City that never sleeps. We will elevate the school’s boarding program to offer a residential experience that is only possible in a diverse, intentional community at New York City’s doorstep. Welcoming, vibrant, and mission-aligned, our residential community is a “home away from home.” Evening and weekend dorm activities cultivate lifelong friendships. The depth of experiences anchored in New York City and the surrounding Hudson Valley enrich students’ lives, building independence, character, connectivity, and confidence.
