Athlete development is a cornerstone of success in sports, playing a critical role in both athletic performance and personal growth. 

Students in grades 3 through 7 of all levels are invited to learn from our expert varsity coaches during skill-building clinics throughout the fall. 

These free clinics are designed to enhance athlete development in fundamentals, resilience, leadership and teamwork. You’ll refine your skills, learn from experienced coaches, connect with fellow athletes, elevate your game, and grow both on and off the field!

  • Comprehensive Skill Development

    Mastering the basics is crucial for success at any level of competition. Our programs focus on building a strong foundation in fundamental skills and teamwork. Through structured practices and individual drills, athletes receive personalized instruction tailored to their unique strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Mental Toughness and Resilience

    Athletics is as much a mental game as it is a physical one. We prioritize the development of mental toughness and resilience, teaching athletes how to handle pressure, overcome setbacks and stay focused on their goals. Our workshops and discussions emphasize the importance of a positive mindset, fostering a culture of perseverance and growth.
  • Teamwork and Leadership

    Athletics provides an invaluable platform for enhancing teamwork and leadership skills. Through collaborative drills, team-building exercises and competitive scenarios, athletes learn the importance of communication, trust and accountability. These experiences prepare them for success in sports and instill lifelong skills applicable in all areas of life.

About Our Coaches

  • Basketball: Joey Kuhl

    Coach Kuhl is a dedicated basketball coach with a wealth of experience across various levels of the sport. He began his coaching journey with the Austin Spurs, the G-League affiliate of the San Antonio Spurs, as an intern, video coordinator and assistant coach. This foundational experience allowed him to develop a keen eye for player development and game strategy, contributing to the growth of numerous athletes.

  • Fencing: Shomari Moore

    Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Coach Moore began his fencing career at a young age and quickly showed an innate ability for the sport. He pursued his passion for the sport and established himself as a top-level fencer, competing in both national and international competitions.

  • Lacrosse: Alexis Di Domenico

    Coach Di Domenico is the girls lacrosse program lead and director of athletics and physical education at The Masters School. Coach Di Domenico hails from South Salem, New York, and graduated from John Jay High School where she was a three-sport varsity athlete. She then played lacrosse at the University at Albany where she was a four-year starter and 2004 MVP.
