Lacrosse: Alexis Di Domenico

Coach Di Domenico is the girls lacrosse program lead and director of athletics and physical education at The Masters School. Coach Di Domenico hails from South Salem, New York, and graduated from John Jay High School where she was a three-sport varsity athlete. She then played lacrosse at the University at Albany where she was a four-year starter and 2004 MVP.

After graduating, she coached women's soccer and women’s lacrosse at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute before moving to Scotland. There she spent three years developing the sport of lacrosse throughout the country and coaching various teams, including the Scotland U-19 team to the 2007 World Championship. She played and captained the Edinburgh Thistle club team and played for the Home Scots regional team and Scotland Senior Women's national team.
 
Since her return to the United States, Coach Di Domenico has taught and coached in a variety of schools including Trinity School in New York City, where she built the girls lacrosse program to become a top-ranked Ivy League team, and for the first time in twenty years, led them to an appearance in the NYSAIS State Final in 2016. 
 
Coach Di Domenico is also the 2028 head coach and co-director of camps and clinics for Compass Lacrosse, a local club program that she has been coaching for more than 10 years.
